Start your Greek adventure in Athens, exploring the Acropolis and the birthplace of democracy, arts, and science, where great figures like Socrates, Pericles, Sophocles, and Aeschylus once thrived. After immersing yourself in Athens' rich cultural heritage, take a ferry to the stunning island of Santorini. Famous for its breathtaking sunsets and delicious cuisine, Santorini is Greece's most iconic island. Witness unforgettable sunsets and explore one of the few active volcanoes in Greece and Europe.

Itinerary

Upon arrival in Athens, claim your bags and proceed toward the arrival hall.  Our representative will meet you and assist you with your transfer to the hotel. (Standard check-in time is 3:00 pm). Our local representative will assist you with a smooth check-in.

Check in at the hotel and catch up on your rest. You can unwind or tour the city throughout the remaining part of the day.

Today, after the luscious breakfast at the hotel, you have the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city

Travel back in time to the thriving empire of ancient Greece, begin with a Panoramic drive of the city visiting the Panathenaic Stadium (modern Olympic Games), the Prime Minister's residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Evzones in their colorful uniforms, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma).

Continue with a guided tour of the Acropolis, the Propylea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and the Parthenon

The rest of the day is free for leisure, immerse yourself in the city's vibrant atmosphere. Take a leisurely walk through the charming neighborhood of Plaka, known as the "Neighborhood of the Gods." Explore its narrow streets lined with neoclassical houses, browse through souvenir shops, and stop by cozy cafes and tavernas for a drink or traditional Greek meal.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast.  Later this morning check-out and proceed to Piraeus port for your ferry to Santorini, the Eden-like Island where blue-domed rooftops and gentle ocean waves complement the bright white buildings and rocky hillsides. A picturesque landscape and iconic destination, Santorini's charms reveal themselves during your stay, where we'll spend the next day exploring the island's dramatic beauty. Enjoy your day free at leisure. A full day of leisure in Santorini offers the perfect opportunity to explore the island at your own pace, allowing you to embrace the laid-back charm of this stunning destination. You can begin by leisurely strolling through the narrow, cobbled streets of the island's picturesque villages, such as Oia or Fira, where the white-washed buildings with their iconic blue domes provide a beautiful backdrop for wandering. Take time to stop at local cafés for a fresh cup of Greek coffee, enjoy delicious pastries, or even savor a leisurely breakfast with a view of the sparkling Aegean Sea.

For those who enjoy the beach, Santorini’s volcanic black sand beaches, like Perissa or Kamari, are ideal for relaxing in the sun or dipping into the crystal-clear waters. You could also treat yourself to a relaxing spa experience or book a boat tour around the island, where you can swim in the caldera's hot springs, visit nearby volcanic islands, or simply cruise along the coast while soaking in the beauty of Santorini’s cliffs and sea views.

Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup, followed by a scenic drive to Profitis Ilias, the island’s highest peak. Soak in panoramic views of Santorini and the deep blue Aegean Sea while learning about the island's captivating volcanic past.

Explore the 18th-century monastery perched atop the mountain, and take in the serene atmosphere at the Saint Nektarios chapel.

Next, head to the village of Pyrgos, a hidden treasure of Santorini. Stroll through its charming alleys and soak up the traditional ambiance. Admire the typical houses, blue-domed churches, and quaint shops, and climb to the imposing castle for stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Then, stop in Emporio, where you’ll embark on a guided tour of the village and visit its small Venetian fortress. Feel like you're stepping into a movie set as you wander through the village’s narrow streets, arches, and doorways, reminiscent of the film Mamma Mia.

Your next destination is Perissa Beach, also known as Black Beach. Enjoy free time to swim in the sea or have lunch at one of the Greek tavernas overlooking the beach.

Take the chance to sample Santorini’s renowned local wine. Learn about the island’s winemaking traditions and enjoy a private tasting session with three different wines made from native grape varieties.

In the late afternoon, arrive in Oia, famous for its iconic blue-domed churches. Take some time to explore the bustling castle area, snap photos, shop, or simply relax with a drink. Optional  - Sunset Caldera Cruise with Dinner - USD 125 Per person
Soak up breathtaking views of the Santorini Caldera on a sunset sightseeing cruise from the port of Athinios. Sip on welcome drinks and savor the flavors of authentic Greek cuisine with a buffet dinner served onboard.  After pickup, go to the port of Athinios by bus. Then, hop on board the King Thiras and enjoy a welcome drink. Sail under the caldera as your captain takes you to the best spots to enjoy the view and take spectacular pictures of the volcano.  Next, savor a delicious buffet dinner prepared and served onboard by the crew. Before the sun starts setting into the sea, sail to a spot to catch the sunset of Santorini.  After watching the sunset, head back to Athinios port where the bus will be waiting to take you back to the starting point of the excursion.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, you will be transferred to your hotel.

  • From the date of booking to 25th June 2025: $500 per person Non-Refundable / Non-transferrable Deposit + interruption insurance cost (if purchased)
  • From 26th June 2025 to 23rd August 2025: 100% of the tour price per person will be applicable as cancellation fee. No refund or Transfers will be available.

Note: A person becoming single as a result of the roommate's cancellation must pay the single supplement
