Cultural etiquette It is important to dress modestly when visiting temples, remove shoes before entering homes or pagodas, and always show respect to elders.
Clothing: We suggest selecting lightweight and comfortable attire that can be easily layered to accommodate changing temperatures. A light jacket or rain gear might also come in handy. For exploring, a durable pair of walking shoes or sneakers is advisable. Keep in mind that you'll need to take off your shoes when visiting Buddhist religious sites. Outdoor excursions call for waterproof shoes or sandals, along with a swimsuit, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Binoculars can enhance your experience by providing a closer view of local wildlife and scenery. Consider packing slightly more formal clothing if you're planning to dine at upscale restaurants or attend special performances. Remember that it's respectful to avoid wearing attire that exposes bare legs and shoulders when visiting temples or religious sites, as entry could be declined based on this criterion.
Local laws: Respect local laws and regulations. Possession and use of drugs, even in small amounts, can lead to severe penalties.

For Thailand, the official language is Thai.

The currency in Thailand is the Thai Baht (THB). In Vietnam, the currency will be Vietnamese Dong and for Bali, the currency will be Indonesian Rupiah. It's recommended to carry some local currency for small purchases, but credit and debit cards are widely accepted in urban areas.
Safety: Thailand, Vietnam and Bali are generally considered safe for travelers, but exercise caution in crowded areas and be aware of common scams. Keep your belongings secure and be mindful of your surroundings.
