Our journey begins at the Apartheid Museum, opened in 2001. Separate from Gold Reef City, this museum offers a moving and immersive experience through 22 exhibitions filled with multimedia, personal stories, and historical artifacts. It’s more than history—it’s a space for reflection on the struggle for freedom and the triumph of the human spirit.

In the heart of Soweto, we visit the Nelson Mandela House Museum, Mandela’s former home from 1946 to 1962. A 30-minute guided tour offers a personal glimpse into his life and legacy, perfectly complementing the broader narrative from the Apartheid Museum.

A short walk away, we stop at the Hector Pieterson Memorial and Museum, commemorating the tragic 1976 student uprising. The museum highlights the courage of the youth and the high cost of resistance, deepening our understanding of apartheid’s human toll.

Our tour reaches its vibrant peak on Vilakazi Street, the only street in the world to have housed two Nobel Peace Prize winners—Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. Here, history meets present-day energy, with lively shops, street vendors, and the spirit of modern Soweto.

The experience continues with an engaging African cooking class where you’ll learn to prepare traditional dishes under the guidance of local chefs. Overnight in Johannesburg

Then, journey to the Lesedi Cultural Village, nestled in the Cradle of Humankind, where you’ll be warmly welcomed into traditional homesteads representing South Africa’s diverse cultural groups including the Zulu, Xhosa, Basotho, Pedi, and Ndebele. Enjoy lively performances of song and dance, and immerse yourself in the heritage and customs of each group. 

Overnight in Johannesburg

After having breakfast in the morning, you will travel to Johannesburg airport to catch your flight to Victoria Falls.  Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. 

Later this evening, enjoy Dinner Cruise. Named after the vibrant bird that inspired its creation, Malachite is a true jewel of the Zambezi River, renowned for offering the most refined dinner cruise experience in Victoria Falls. Upon boarding, guests are greeted with a cool towel and a glass of sparkling wine, setting the tone for a relaxed and elegant evening.

Overnight in Victoria Falls

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Victoria falls airport for your flight to Cape Town a modern, cosmopolitan city surrounded by nature. Centred around Table Mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders of the world, the Mother City is known for its beautiful beaches, stunning biodiversity, award-winning food and wine, and sheer variety of experiences on offer.

Upon arrival proceed on a orientation tour of Cape Town. Take a trip to the top of the world, high above the clouds on the famous Table Mountain. Table Mountain is an icon in Cape Town and is most likely the most photographed landmark in the country. Table Mountain has been named as of the seven wonders of nature and attracts millions of visitors from all across the globe, in fact, since the opening of the aerial cableway in 1929, more than 22 million people have taken the trip to the top. At the upper cable station, guests will find a restaurant and a curio shop as well as some footpaths for exploration.

Overnight in Cape Town

Overnight in Cape Town

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Port Elizabeth. 

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge in Amakhala Game Reserve. 

Set on the Big 5 Amakhala Game Reserve, an hour’s drive from Port Elizabeth in South Africa’s lush Eastern Cape region, Woodbury Lodge boasts a spectacular location above the Bushman’s River Valley. This venue will appeal to those looking to escape into pristine nature while being pampered with indulgent cuisine and sumptuous room accommodation. You will spend their days searching for game, either by safari vehicle accompanied by professional guides, on bush walks or river cruises. Back at the lodge, the swimming pool offers a chance to cool off before heading off for a siesta or heading into the dining room or the campfire for a delicious meal. Children are welcome and there are childminding facilities available, unfortunately no children under the age of six may go on game drives.

Unwind at the lodge this evening and enjoy dinner.

Overnight in Amakhala 

Indulge in a scrumptious breakfast and get ready for an exhilarating morning safari in the Game Reserve to witness the animals in their most active state, wake up early and venture out with an experienced guide, who will show you the various landscapes ranging from grassy plains to riverine forests.

During the safari, be on the lookout for the "Big Five," which includes lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos, as well as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and diverse bird species. Enhance your knowledge of the animal's habitat and behavior and get a better understanding of the delicate equilibrium of life in the African wilderness.

Once the safari is over, head back to the lodge for a relaxed lunch and some free time to unwind and appreciate the natural surroundings.

Overnight in Amakhala

Wake up before dawn for a sunrise game drive, when wildlife is most active. Enjoy coffee or tea in the bush as you track animals and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the morning. Return to the lodge for a hearty lunch. afternoon depart for game drive. Explore the reserve’s diverse landscapes and search for the Big Five—lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard—as well as cheetah, giraffe, zebra, and various antelope species.

Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner under the stars, often served around a fire in a traditional boma. Enjoy the sounds of the African night as you unwind 

Overnight in Amakhala 

Today marks the end of your incredible tour of South Africa and Victoria Falls. Post breakfast, check out and bid farewell to Amakhala with unforgettable memories of the African wilderness.

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport for your homeward flight.
