After breakfast, meet with the tour guide at the hotel in Johannesburg and depart to explore the vibrant sights and sounds of Soweto and Johannesburg, Africa's economic powerhouse. Our first stop is at Apartheid Museum, exploring the exhibits that cover the turbulent history of the Apartheid era in South Africa. Today you’ll go on a boat trip on the Chobe River and a game drive in Chobe National Park. Botswana’s Chobe National Park, located on the banks of the scenic Chobe River, is home to one of the largest game concentrations in Africa. Experience the thrill of a game drive on the lookout for elephants and lions that populate the park. Your guide will transport you approximately an hour to the Kazungula border between Zimbabwe and Botswana for immigration procedures. The adventure begins with a morning cruise along the Chobe River. Glide serenely along the river, admiring its stunning scenery and encountering giraffes, antelopes, hippos, crocodiles, and an array of wild birds. Following the cruise, you'll be taken back to your Victoria Falls hotel.

In the afternoon, enjoy a buffet lunch at either Chobe Safari Lodge or Chobe Marina Lodge. Post-lunch, hop onto our open 4X4 safari vehicles for an afternoon expedition in Chobe National Park. Overnight in Mapumalanga

Indulge in a scrumptious breakfast and get ready for an exhilarating morning safari at the Kruger National Park, one of Africa's vast game reserves. To witness the animals in their most active state, wake up early and venture out in an open vehicle with an experienced guide, who will show you the various landscapes ranging from grassy plains to riverine forests.

During the safari, be on the lookout for the "Big Five," which includes lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos, as well as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and diverse bird species. Enhance your knowledge of the animal's habitat and behavior and get a better understanding of the delicate equilibrium of life in the African wilderness.

Once the safari is over, head back to the lodge for a relaxed lunch and some free time to unwind and appreciate the natural surroundings.

Overnight in Mapumalanga

After breakfast, we will leave the lodge and drive to Johannesburg, but first, we will take the scenic route through the famous Panorama Route. This is a stunning drive that offers breathtaking views of the Blyde River Canyon, the third-largest canyon in the world, as well as waterfalls, natural rock formations, and lush vegetation. We will stop at various viewpoints along the way, including God's Window, where you can see the magnificent vistas of the Lowveld and the Drakensberg Mountains.

We will also visit Bourke's Luck Potholes, a series of natural rock formations created by centuries of erosion, and the charming town of Pilgrim's Rest, a living museum of the gold rush era. Along the way, we'll have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and support local vendors.

We'll stop for lunch (At own expense) at a local restaurant before continuing our journey to Johannesburg airport for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town, transfer to the hotel. The evening is at leisure. 

Overnight in Cape Town

After breakfast, explore South Africa's tumultuous history with a visit to the infamous Robben Island. Embark on a ferry journey from Cape Town to the island for an enlightening tour, including Nelson Mandela's former prison cell.

Your excursion commences at the Nelson Mandela Gateway in the V & A Waterfront's Silo District. Board the ferry for a scenic 30-minute trip across to Robben Island. Relax and take in the captivating views of Cape Town from the ferry.

Upon arrival, engage in a guided tour led by a former political prisoner, offering insights into the island's extensive history. Robben Island, a UNESCO heritage site, has served as an isolation site since the late 17th century.

The tour encompasses various significant spots, including the leprosy graveyard, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe's residence, the Bluestone Quarry, military bunkers, and the maximum security prison that housed numerous of South Africa's freedom activists for extensive periods.

Begin your exploration in Cape Town's City Bowl, proceeding past the V&A Waterfront into the primary suburbs along the Atlantic Seaboard. Witness the sights of Green Point, Sea Point, Clifton, and Camps Bay.

Travel along the coastline, with the Atlantic Ocean on your right and the imposing Twelve Apostles mountains on your left, passing by Blue Flag beaches.

Journey through the fishing village of Hout Bay, taking in the stunning Chapman’s Peak Drive before reaching the charming coastal town of Noordhoek. Cancellation Policy

  • Starting from the booking date until Mar 25, 2024, a cancellation will incur a $500 per person non-refundable/non-transferable deposit fee plus any interruption insurance costs if bought.
  • Between Mar 26 and Jun 23, 2024, 50% of the tour price will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • From Jun 24, 2024 to to September 21, 2024, cancelling will result in the full tour price being charged with no possibility of a refund.

A person becoming single because of the roommate’s cancellation must pay the single supplement
All payment cut-off dates are firm, and missing deadlines without approved extensions will result in cancellations without refunds being offered.
