After breakfast, meet with the tour guide at the hotel in Johannesburg and depart to explore the vibrant sights and sounds of Soweto and Johannesburg, Africa's economic powerhouse. The tour delves into the political and historical significance of the struggle against apartheid, and visits key memorial sites, such as the Apartheid Museum, Soweto's suburbs, and informal settlements.

Our first stop is at Apartheid Museum, exploring the exhibits that cover the turbulent history of the Apartheid era in South Africa. It offers a comprehensive overview of South Africa's Apartheid era, from the onset of segregation to the implementation of the Apartheid system, and covers all of the factors that have shaped the country's 20th-century history, including the discovery of gold, black consciousness, and the first democratic elections. Next, depart for Mandela House and spend some time touring the national monument and learning about Nelson Mandela's personal life and the families that he lived with from 1946 to 1990.

Continue to Constitutional Hill in Braamfontein, a former prison and military fort that now houses South Africa's Constitutional Court. Explore the isolation cells, where famous political activists such as Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Walter Sisulu were held, the Women's Gaol that housed Winnie Mandela and others, and many other cells, as well as the awaiting trial building. Next head to the Hector Peterson Memorial, to pay respects to those who lost their lives during the Soweto uprising, and learn about the pivotal moment in the anti-Apartheid struggle.

The tour concludes with a visit to the cultural hub of Vilakazi Street and the historic suburb of Orlando West before your guide drives you back to your Johannesburg hotel.

Following breakfast in the morning, you'll head to Johannesburg airport for your flight to Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted and taken to your hotel, giving you the freedom to spend the rest of the day as you please.

In the evening, treat yourself to a captivating sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. It's an awe-inspiring way to unwind, basking in the incredible beauty of the powerful Zambezi River. Bring your camera to capture stunning moments against the backdrop of the African sunset. The riverbanks might offer glimpses of wildlife like elephants, crocodiles, and hippos, along with an array of distinct bird species. Departing from the Pure Africa Waterfront, you'll sail into the evening, enjoying your preferred drink before being seated for a delightful meal featuring freshly prepared dishes paired with premium drinks aboard the boat.

Overnight in Victoria Falls

After breakfast, you'll be transported to the Helipad for a thrilling helicopter ride over the impressive Victoria Falls. As you lift off, anticipate a magical experience, feeling a sense of wonder as the falls gradually come into view. Glide over the upper Zambezi River, capturing breathtaking views from both sides of the helicopter as it maneuvers around the falls. Admire the natural splendor of the Batoka Gorge along the river, passing cliffs. Your flight will take you over a lengthy island upstream from the falls, toward Zambezi National Park, known for its diverse wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, giraffes, kudus, and more as you return to the helipad.

Following the helicopter adventure, proceed to Victoria Falls Rainforest Park. Today you’ll go on a boat trip on the Chobe River and a game drive in Chobe National Park. Botswana’s Chobe National Park, located on the banks of the scenic Chobe River, is home to one of the largest game concentrations in Africa. Experience the thrill of a game drive on the lookout for elephants and lions that populate the park. Your guide will transport you approximately an hour to the Kazungula border between Zimbabwe and Botswana for immigration procedures. The adventure begins with a morning cruise along the Chobe River. Glide serenely along the river, admiring its stunning scenery and encountering giraffes, antelopes, hippos, crocodiles, and an array of wild birds. Following the cruise, you'll be taken back to your Victoria Falls hotel.

In the afternoon, enjoy a buffet lunch at either Chobe Safari Lodge or Chobe Marina Lodge. Post-lunch, hop onto our open 4X4 safari vehicles for an afternoon expedition in Chobe National Park. Here, you'll have ample opportunities to witness an abundance of wildlife. Traverse the park's expansive terrain and be on the lookout for Africa's renowned Big 5 game animals: lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, elephants, and buffaloes. After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Mpumalanga. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge in Africa's Iconic Kruger National Park.

Mpumalanga, which means "the place where the sun rises" in Zulu, is a magnificent province of South Africa. It boasts stunning canyons, rivers, mountains, and impressive caves that visitors can explore. Some of the world's top nature reserves, including the Kruger National Park, are located here, providing opportunities to encounter African wildlife and appreciate the breathtaking scenery. In addition, the province features charming towns nestled among lush valleys, orchards, and cascading mountains, allowing visitors to experience the vibrant culture and cuisine of South Africa. Mpumalanga offers a wealth of sights and experiences for those who seek to immerse themselves in the full spectrum of natural beauty, wildlife, and small-town charm.

Overnight in Mapumalanga

Indulge in a scrumptious breakfast and get ready for an exhilarating morning safari at the Kruger National Park, one of Africa's vast game reserves. To witness the animals in their most active state, wake up early and venture out in an open vehicle with an experienced guide, who will show you the various landscapes ranging from grassy plains to riverine forests.

During the safari, be on the lookout for the "Big Five," which includes lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos, as well as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and diverse bird species. Enhance your knowledge of the animal's habitat and behavior and get a better understanding of the delicate equilibrium of life in the African wilderness.

Once the safari is over, head back to the lodge for a relaxed lunch and some free time to unwind and appreciate the natural surroundings.

Overnight in Mapumalanga

After breakfast, we will leave the lodge and drive to Johannesburg, but first, we will take the scenic route through the famous Panorama Route. This is a stunning drive that offers breathtaking views of the Blyde River Canyon, the third-largest canyon in the world, as well as waterfalls, natural rock formations, and lush vegetation. We will stop at various viewpoints along the way, including God's Window, where you can see the magnificent vistas of the Lowveld and the Drakensberg Mountains.

We will also visit Bourke's Luck Potholes, a series of natural rock formations created by centuries of erosion, and the charming town of Pilgrim's Rest, a living museum of the gold rush era. Along the way, we'll have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and support local vendors.

We'll stop for lunch (At own expense) at a local restaurant before continuing our journey to Johannesburg airport for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town, transfer to the hotel. The evening is at leisure. 

Overnight in Cape Town

After breakfast, explore South Africa's tumultuous history with a visit to the infamous Robben Island. Embark on a ferry journey from Cape Town to the island for an enlightening tour, including Nelson Mandela's former prison cell.

Your excursion commences at the Nelson Mandela Gateway in the V & A Waterfront's Silo District. Board the ferry for a scenic 30-minute trip across to Robben Island. Relax and take in the captivating views of Cape Town from the ferry.

Upon arrival, engage in a guided tour led by a former political prisoner, offering insights into the island's extensive history. Robben Island, a UNESCO heritage site, has served as an isolation site since the late 17th century.

The tour encompasses various significant spots, including the leprosy graveyard, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe's residence, the Bluestone Quarry, military bunkers, and the maximum security prison that housed numerous of South Africa's freedom activists for extensive periods.

The culmination of the tour leads to Nelson Mandela's authentic prison cell, where he spent a significant portion of his 27-year imprisonment.

After the exploration of Robben Island, reboard the ferry for a brief return journey to the mainland, providing another opportunity to admire the coastline and Table Mountain vistas.

After breakfast, meet your guide and embark on a full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula. Explore the Cape Peninsula's top attractions through a guided tour starting from Cape Town. Traverse a scenic route along sandy coastlines and the Twelve Apostles, stopping at key destinations like Hout Bay, Cape Point, Noordhoek, and the Cape Point Lighthouse. 

Begin your exploration in Cape Town's City Bowl, proceeding past the V&A Waterfront into the primary suburbs along the Atlantic Seaboard. Witness the sights of Green Point, Sea Point, Clifton, and Camps Bay.

Travel along the coastline, with the Atlantic Ocean on your right and the imposing Twelve Apostles mountains on your left, passing by Blue Flag beaches.

Journey through the fishing village of Hout Bay, taking in the stunning Chapman’s Peak Drive before reaching the charming coastal town of Noordhoek. The peninsula drive leads to the spectacular Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point. Explore the bustling mariner wharf and harbor, where amicable seals often greet visitors.

Today proceed on a comprehensive tour of Cape Town that covers some of the city's most iconic landmarks and cultural sites, a full-day tour that includes Table Mountain, Langa Township, District Six, and Bo-Kaap.  Begin with a visit to Table Mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, where you can take a cable car or hike to the top and enjoy breathtaking views of the city and surrounding landscape.

Take a stroll down Adderley Street, visit the South African Museum, or stop by the Castle of Good Hope for a dose of history and culture.

Relax on the beach: Cape Town has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Head to Camps Bay, Clifton, or Muizenberg for a day of sun, sand, and surf.

Later this evening enjoy Dinner and entertainment at the Gold Restaurant, an Interactive Djembe Drumming, and 14 Dish African feast. This Cape Town restaurant is a popular restaurant that offers a unique African dining experience.
