After breakfast, meet with the tour guide at the hotel in Johannesburg and depart to explore the vibrant sights and sounds of Soweto and Johannesburg, Africa's economic powerhouse. The tour delves into the political and historical significance of the struggle against apartheid, and visits key memorial sites, such as the Apartheid Museum, Soweto's suburbs, and informal settlements.

Our first stop is at Apartheid Museum, exploring the exhibits that cover the turbulent history of the Apartheid era in South Africa. It offers a comprehensive overview of South Africa's Apartheid era, from the onset of segregation to the implementation of the Apartheid system, and covers all of the factors that have shaped the country's 20th-century history, including the discovery of gold, black consciousness, and the first democratic elections. Next, depart for Mandela House and spend some time touring the national monument and learning about Nelson Mandela's personal life and the families that he lived with from 1946 to 1990.

Next head to the Hector Peterson Memorial, to pay respects to those who lost their lives during the Soweto uprising, and learn about the pivotal moment in the anti-Apartheid struggle.

Continue to the Lesedi Cultural Village to immerse yourself in the diverse cultures that shape South Africa's modern society. Overnight in Johannesburg

After having breakfast in the morning, you will travel to Johannesburg airport to catch your flight to Victoria Falls.  Upon arrival, meet your guide and head to Victoria Falls National Park. The sound of the falls, audible from several kilometers away, will greet you upon entrance to the park. Walk along a paved path that leads to different viewpoints of the falls. The guide will provide information about the geology and history of the area, pointing out the various sections of the falls. Take some time to stop at Devil's Cataract and Main Falls to capture some photographs and enjoy the stunning views. Bring rain gear and be prepared to get wet from the falls. 

The tour includes a visit to the Livingstone Statue and information about the explorer's discovery of the falls. See local wildlife, such as baboons and elephants, in their natural habitat. Once you have explored the falls, take a lunch break at one of the nearby cafes or restaurants. Tour guides can recommend options based on your preferences. Make sure to bring your rain gear and be prepared to get wet from the falls. Afterward, check-in at the hotel, and it's time to relax.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Mpumalanga. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge in Africa's Iconic Kruger National Park.

It boasts stunning canyons, rivers, mountains, and impressive caves that visitors can explore. Some of the world's top nature reserves, including the Kruger National Park, are located here, providing opportunities to encounter African wildlife and appreciate the breathtaking scenery. In addition, the province features charming towns nestled among lush valleys, orchards, and cascading mountains, allowing visitors to experience the vibrant culture and cuisine of South Africa. Mpumalanga offers a wealth of sights and experiences for those who seek to immerse themselves in the full spectrum of natural beauty, wildlife, and small-town charm.

Overnight in Mapumalanga

Indulge in a scrumptious breakfast and get ready for an exhilarating morning safari at the Kruger National Park, one of Africa's vast game reserves. To witness the animals in their most active state, wake up early and venture out in an open vehicle with an experienced guide, who will show you the various landscapes ranging from grassy plains to riverine forests.

During the safari, be on the lookout for the "Big Five," which includes lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos, as well as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and diverse bird species. Enhance your knowledge of the animal's habitat and behavior and get a better understanding of the delicate equilibrium of life in the African wilderness.

Overnight in Mapumalanga

After breakfast, we will leave the lodge and drive to Johannesburg airport for your flight to Cape Town. 

Voted as the best place in the world to visit by the prestigious New York Times, Cape Town is one of the most popular destinations in South Africa. This vibrant multicultural city is a healthy mix of city and suburban living, vibey day and night spots, outdoor recreational activities and relaxation. Two oceans with their beautiful white sand beaches embrace this nature-saturated city. Ride the revolving cable car to the sky on Table Mountain; shop at the V&A Waterfront, one of Africas premier shopping destinations; stand on the edge of the world at Cape Point or delve into South Africas past at Robben Island, the prison that once held one of the worlds greatest heroes, Nelson Mandela. The Mother City, the "Green City", the "Tavern of the Seas"...whatever name you give it, this is a bucket list destination to be experienced and enjoyed.

Upon arrival in Cape Town, transfer to the hotel. The evening is at leisure.

Enjoy your breakfast this morning. Today proceed on a comprehensive tour of Cape Town that covers some of the city's most iconic landmarks and cultural sites, a full-day tour that includes Table Mountain, Langa Township, District Six, and Bo-Kaap.  Begin with a visit to Table Mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, where you can take a cable car or hike to the top and enjoy breathtaking views of the city and surrounding landscape.

Next Visit Robben Island. A Robben Island tour is a must-do activity when visiting Cape Town. Here's some information about the tour:  Robben Island is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a symbol of South Africa's struggle against apartheid. It's located in Table Bay, about 7 kilometers from Cape Town. The island served as a prison for political prisoners, including Nelson Mandela, for nearly five decades. Today, it's a museum and a popular tourist attraction.
The tour to Robben Island starts with a ferry ride from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and you'll be able to enjoy stunning views of Table Mountain and the city skyline along the way.
Once you arrive on the island, you'll be taken on a guided tour by a former political prisoner, who will share their personal experiences and give you insights into life on the island. You'll visit the prison cells, including Nelson Mandela's cell, and learn about the harsh conditions and the prisoners' daily routines.

Overnight in Cape Town
