REVIEW
Our trip to Ladakh exceeded all expectations! Arriving in Leh, we took it easy the first day to acclimatize, which was smart given the altitude. The gentle walk to Shanti Stupa in the evening was magical, with sweeping views of the city. Day 2’s monastery tour was awe-inspiring — Thiksey and Hemis were absolutely breathtaking, and we loved learning about the local culture. Driving over Khardung La to Nubra Valley was a highlight; the views were unreal, and riding Bactrian camels in Hunder felt surreal. Pangong Lake was like stepping into a postcard — the sunrise over the lake is something we’ll never forget. Everything was perfectly organized, and our guides made it feel effortless. Highly recommend for anyone wanting adventure with a cultural touch!
Ladakh is stunning, and this itinerary covered so many of the must-see spots! Leh’s monasteries were peaceful and photogenic, and Diskit Monastery in Nubra Valley was even more impressive in person. The drive over Khardung La was thrilling — nerve-wracking at times but worth every minute for the views. We chose the Turtuk village visit and loved getting a glimpse of daily life and tasting fresh apricots. Pangong Lake was the cherry on top; sitting by the lake at sunset was serene and unforgettable. The only minor downside was that meals weren’t included everywhere, so it took a little planning, but overall it was an incredible experience.”
This Ladakh trip was an absolute dream! Day 1 in Leh gave us time to acclimate, and even a short evening stroll to Leh Market was refreshing. Exploring the monasteries on Day 2 was fascinating — the architecture and spirituality are unlike anything back home. The journey to Nubra Valley via Khardung La was epic, and we can’t stop talking about the camel ride in Hunder. Choosing Sumur for the hot springs was the perfect relaxed day before heading to Pangong Lake, where the scenery is beyond words. Returning over Chang La Pass felt like a grand finale with one last scenic adventure. Highly organized, yet felt flexible — the perfect mix of culture, adventure, and natural beauty!
