Today after breakfast, set out to explore Kyoto’s cultural treasures, reflecting over a thousand years of imperial history. Begin at Tenryu-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its Zen Garden designed to harmonize with the surrounding mountains. Visit the dazzling Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), whose gold-leaf exterior reflects beautifully on the calm pond below.
Continue to the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, where towering bamboo stalks create a serene and unforgettable walking path. Later, visit Maruyama Park, a popular gathering place known for seasonal beauty.
