Culture and customs:
Dubai is a conservative city, and it is essential to dress appropriately, especially in public places. It is advisable to avoid wearing revealing clothing, and public displays of affection are not tolerated.
The Maldives has a rich cultural heritage with influences from India, Sri Lanka, and Arabia. Visitors can explore local markets, visit historical sites, and experience traditional music and dance performances. It's important to respect local customs and traditions while visiting.

Dubai has a desert climate, so it is essential to pack appropriate clothing and sun protection. The summer months (June to September) can be extremely hot, and it is advisable to plan indoor activities during this time.
The Maldives has a tropical climate with two seasons: the dry season from November to April and the wet season from May to October. The average temperature is around 30°C (86°F) year-round.

The Maldives uses the Type G electrical plug, which is the same type used in the UK and some other countries. The voltage in the Maldives is 230V, and the frequency is 50Hz. Some resorts may also have universal electrical outlets that can accommodate other types of plugs, but it's always a good idea to bring a travel adapter if you plan to use electronic devices while in the Maldives.

REVIEW
We had the most incredible trip combining Dubai’s modern energy with the tranquility of the Maldives. The Dubai city tour gave us a real sense of the city—standing in front of the Burj Al Arab and wandering through the Gold and Spice Souks felt like stepping between two worlds. The desert safari was a highlight—fun, cultural, and surprisingly romantic under the stars. Abu Dhabi was equally impressive, especially the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque which left us speechless. When we flew to the Maldives, it felt like entering another universe. The seaplane ride alone was worth it! Our days there were pure bliss—white-sand beaches, the clearest water we’ve ever seen, and quiet resort evenings. It was an ideal balance of exploration and relaxation. Highly recommend this itinerary for couples looking for both adventure and serenity.
This trip was perfect for our family. Dubai was exciting for the kids and adults alike—we loved visiting Palm Jumeirah and the dhow cruise on Dubai Marina was a family favorite with great food and views. The staff everywhere went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The highlight for the kids was the desert safari. They couldn’t stop laughing during the dune drive, and they loved the cultural performances at the camp. Abu Dhabi was more laid-back, and the Louvre was fascinating even for our teenagers. Flying to the Maldives after such an action-filled Dubai stay was the best decision. It gave us a few days to simply relax as a family, with plenty of time swimming, snorkeling, and just enjoying each other’s company at the resort. A wonderful mix of culture, adventure, and relaxation.
As a solo traveler, I wanted a trip that gave me both exploration and downtime, and this itinerary really delivered. Dubai’s mix of historic districts like Al Fahidi and futuristic landmarks like Burj Khalifa (I did the optional visit on my free time) was fascinating. The half-day city tour helped me get my bearings, and the desert safari was one of those bucket-list moments you just never forget. Abu Dhabi impressed me most with the Grand Mosque—peaceful and majestic at the same time. The Louvre was surprisingly moving, and even though I’ve been to art museums worldwide, its design is unmatched. Then came the Maldives—absolute paradise. Days spent on the beach or at the spa gave me exactly the recharge I was looking for. Watching the sunsets with no rush, no schedule—it felt like time stopped. This was hands-down one of the most balanced trips I’ve ever taken.
