In the morning, take a horse-drawn carriage to visit the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu. After sailing onward, disembark at Kom Ombo for a guided tour of its unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus the Elder. Return to the ship for dinner as the Nile landscape drifts by under the stars.
Overnight in Nile Cruise (sailing toward Aswan)
Arrive in Aswan and begin your visit with the serene Temple of Philae, picturesquely set on an island. Stop at the High Dam, a modern marvel of engineering. In the late afternoon, enjoy a peaceful felucca sail past Elephantine Island, catching the sunset as it reflects off the granite hills.
