Prepare yourself! You are leaving today for Rwanda to begin your unforgettable journey through lush forests and volcanic landscapes.

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a local representative and transferred to your hotel in the city. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax at your hotel or explore the vibrant atmosphere of Kigali. 

Overnight in Kigali

After breakfast, depart on a scenic drive southwest toward Nyungwe Forest National Park. Along the way, enjoy the rolling hills and rich landscapes of Rwanda’s countryside. Stop en route for a leisurely lunch before continuing toward the edge of one of Africa’s oldest rainforests. On arrival at your lodge, settle in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this pristine jungle environment.

Overnight in Nyungwe Forest

Today is dedicated to experiencing the wonders of Nyungwe Forest. After an early breakfast, you'll venture into the dense forest with a professional guide for a rewarding day of nature and wildlife immersion. Nyungwe is home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna, including various primates and hundreds of bird species. The experience offers both adventure and tranquility in one of Rwanda’s most remarkable natural settings.

Overnight in Nyungwe Forest

Enjoy breakfast at your lodge before setting out on a picturesque drive north to Volcanoes National Park, located in the Virunga Mountains. The journey offers a great opportunity to see more of Rwanda’s beautiful terrain, with stops along the way for refreshments and photo opportunities. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon, with time to relax at your lodge and prepare for the next day’s forest adventure.

Overnight in Volcanoes National Park

Following breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a guided mountain experience. The day offers an unforgettable opportunity to be immersed in the beauty of the Virunga Volcanoes and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The cooler climate and lush hills make for a serene escape and an ideal way to connect with Rwanda’s natural heritage.

Overnight in Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, depart Volcanoes National Park and return to Kigali. On arrival in the capital, you can enjoy a relaxed city tour, visit key cultural sites, or simply spend time reflecting on your journey. The afternoon offers flexibility for light sightseeing or relaxation before your final evening in Rwanda.

Cancellation Policy

  • From the date of booking to 145 days before departure: $300 per person Non-Refundable / Non-transferrable Deposit + interruption insurance cost (if purchased)
  • 144-120 days before departure: 50% of the cost per person
  • 119- 60 days before departure: 80% of the cost per person
  • 59 days or fewer before departure: No refund is available.
